Bored Owl’s Eddie Data Hub, in plain terms, is an embedded computer system. It lets you analyse data and control equipment right where the data is collected. That means you can quickly change how a process or machine runs based on real‑time data.

Eddie Data Hub makes it easy and fast to build an online data analysis and control system for your measurement application. Bring your sensors and tell us your measurement application and sensor needs; we’ll recommend the Eddie Data Hub and probe modules required.

Eddie is for non-experts. We made the hardware and firmware, so the interface is easy. Plug in sensors and use them without technical skills. You don’t need need programming skills or hardware expertise to use our Eddie Data Hub.

Eddie Modules to choose from:

  • Eddie-Micro Hub is Bored Owl’s smallest data hub which can connect to your sensors through Eddie Probes and which you can connect to your laptop or desktop through a usb port.

  • Multi-slot Eddie Hub Devices:

    • 2-slot Eddie version can include: power supply input, CPU card, I/O card (eg serial card).

    • 4-slot Eddie version can include: power supply card with ethernet port, CPU card, I/O card (eg serial card), digital I/O card, possible additional CPU cards.

  • Eddie also has probes, pods and peas to choose from.

  • Eddie probe, pod and pea modules help make sensor connections simple.
